Flying Site #1

The Rend Lake RC Club has Two Flying Sites..... The Main Flying Site is Located at the Rend Lake Collage..... In driving South from Mt. Vernon, IL. on I-57, get off at Exit #83.... Turn right, and follow the road to Rend Lake Collage.... If you are traveling North on I-57 from Benton, you would get off at Exit #83 and make a Left hand turn, and follow the road to the Collage....Our Flying Site will be on your Left just before the Collage.... This Flying Site is used most often on Saturday's and Sunday's.... Weather permitting.

Flying Site #2

The Rend lake RC Club also has a Flying Site in the Town of Whittington, IL..... Driving South on Rt 37, in the town of Whittington, turn Left onto Ewing Road.... Burton's Cafe is on the Northeast Corner..... Drive 4 tenths of a mile to East Street.... Turn Right and drive 4 tenths of a mile..... You will see a Steel culvert and Stone road on your left.....Follow the Stone road up to the Flying Field.... This site is usually used by Club Members and Guests on Thursday afternoon.... Weather Permitting.
