Meeting Called to Order
  The meeting was called to order at 7:15 PM there were 15 members present.

Secretary's report
  Motion was made by Mark Harper to accept the Secretary's report, seconded by John Steffy. Motion passed

Treasurer's Report
  Sam Hart made a motion to accept the tresaurer's report, John Steffy seconded. Motion passed.

Warbird Fly-in
  A report was given on the Military Fly-in to be held on September 7th. We will have a work day at the RLC field on Saturday, September 6th. We will meet at the Ina McDonalds at 8:00 AM for breakfast and then go to the field to work. Jim and Bill Fleri have volunteered to prepare food for the event. Dan Dare will provide the PA system and Sam Hart will do the announcing. Contest Director Mark Harper said some prizes are coming in from the manufacturers. The trophies have been ordered and are now at the supplier but need to be picked up. A show of hands was asked for members that would be willing to help at the fly-in, and all volunteered.

2.4 GHZ Radios
  After discussion it was decided by vote that the new 2.4 GHZ transmitters will not be required to have a pin from the frequency board. Radios on the 72 MHZ band must continus to use frequency pins and be impounded when not flying. Club Flying Field rules state that only 5 models can be in the air at one time.

Mowing the RLC Field
  There was discussion about what to do with the piles of grass clippings that are swept up and piled around the perimeter of the field after mowing. It was decided to mow to where the corn begins in the north east corner of the flying field and dump the grass in that area.

Club Hats
  Mike Wilkerson asked if there were any Club hats available. When it was reported they had been all sold, a motion was made and passed to buy 4 dozen new hats. Roger Flatt will check with the supplier that provided our T-shirts.

Swap Shop
  The ad for the swap shop has been mailed to the AMA. The insurance papers have been returned and will be delivered to the Mt. Vernon city park department.

Meeting Adjourned
  Mike Wilkerson made a motion to adjourn the meeting. The motion was seconded and the meeting was adjourned.

Tail Twister-50/50
  The September tail twister will be an AMA card. Al Jones won the 50/50.

Adjournment
  Mark Harper made a motion to dismiss the meeting, Doug Schindelar seconded and the meeting was adjourned.
